Australian composer Liza Lim is internationally renowned for her music’s visceral energy and vibrant colours. In her Online Masterclass series for Sounds Unheard Liza will explore the sonic possibilities of the humble woodblock, taking us along on a journey from one of her earliest compositions to her most recent opera. In part one, Liza joins Eugene and Kaylie from Speak Percussion to build up a catalogue of woodblock sounds that can be used to create a new composition.
