Sounds Unheard Members who played in A wave and waves will recognise some familiar faces in this video! American composer Michael Pisaro and his long-time collaborator, percussionist Greg Stuart, were in Australia in October to work with Speak Percussion and almost one hundred guest performers in the Melbourne Festival. During their trip they recorded two masterclasses exclusively for Sounds Unheard.
The first of these masterclasses looks at alternative instrument techniques – finding new sounds, new ways to play instruments, and why you might want to try this at home.
